The Great American Music hall is so pretty. We tried to concentrate on our sound-check but kept remarking on the gold lame interior. "Do you think it's like the Golden Gate, where they have to go back and start painting again as soon as they're finished?" Our set went particularly well. Plenty of people have described it better, but sometimes when you finish playing it's like waking up from a satisfying dream where nobody died, nobody chased you and you even remembered to put on pants. After us, Mary T played a beautiful set with real power. She went from piano to viola to guitar, all the while singing with her trance-like voice and staring with her trance-like eyes, keeping the audience in complete thrall. Mary and Christina are heading to Olympia next and you should go see them.
