Outlandish Knight. An stranger from the north lands came And he came a wooing me He said he'd take me unto the foreign lands And there he'd marry me "Come fetch me some of your father's gold And some of your mother's money And two of the horses from their stable Where there stand thirty and three" He mounted on the milk white steed And she on the dappled gray And they rode till they came to the seaside Three hours before it was day "Get off, get off thy milk white steed" Deliver it up onto me I think that it looks too expensive and fun To rot with you in the salt sea" "Take off, take off thy silken things, Deliver them up unto me; I think they look too expensive and fun To rot with you in the salt sea" "If I must take off my silken things", Then turn their back unto me; For it is not fitting such a criminal A naked woman should see He turned around his back to her And looked at the leaves so green And she's grabbed him around the middle so small And tumbled him into the sea He dropped low and he dropped high Till he came to side "Grab hold of my hand you pretty fair maid And I will make you my bride" "Lie there, lie there you false hearted man Lie there instead of me For if six pretty maidens have you drowned here The seventh one hath drowned thee" © edited to fit Mary's version Outlandish Knight by Anonymous
